Do you know an unsung volunteering hero?
The annual Team London Awards celebrate the individual, group and corporate volunteers who are making outstanding contributions to their communities and helping to make London the best city it can be.
In London’s year as European Volunteering Capital, the Team London Awards 2016 are a chance for the capital’s volunteering heroes to be recognised for their hard work and dedication. Under 25 year olds, over 25 year olds and volunteering teams can be nominated for awards which reflect the Mayor’s priority areas. These include: greening and cleaning; mentoring and coaching; my community, and sports and healthy living.
Don’t forget to make your nominations by 31 July 2016. The awards ceremony takes place in the autumn at City Hall, where all shortlisted nominees will join Team London’s celebrity ambassadors and VIP guests for an evening of celebration of volunteers who make our communities better places to be.
